Although there are many dreary days in Chicago, an indoor garden can change the scenery from gray skies to colorful baskets filled with blooms. The snow is often piled high in the dead of winter which lasts longer in Chicago than in other places. The temperatures are often below zero, and the wind chill factor takes these temperatures even lower.
